Your dream home on the lake awaits at the magnificent Chateau Apres Cottage. A cozy sitting area for reading or rest greets you upon entry, making way to two bedrooms, both finished in original pine logs, with vaulted open-air ceilings and comfortable queen-size beds. On the main floor there is one full bathroom, all knotty pine, with a gorgeous stone and slate walk-in shower. Special accents abound. Moving forward into the great room, you’ll find a handcrafted genuine bowling alley dining table that seats 10. Gather here for amazing summertime fair, made in your cuisine gastronomique! That’s french for, “gourmet kitchen”! Decked out in stainless steel appliances and subway tiles, you’ll whip up daily magic! Everything you need, nothing you don’t, nourishment for all.
The great room is appointed perfectly for every family gathering including an oh-so-comfortable couch with flat-screen TV and a tremendous stone fireplace. A perfectly placed table for 4, great for games or the kiddos rounds out the room, plus a charming trundle bed for afternoon naps after lake time. Emerge from the great room to the outdoor patio to find comfortable patio furniture, a patio heater, and incredible Lake Mecosta views.
Make your way down the split log staircase to the lower level boasting a second knotty pine full bathroom with a stone and slate walk-in shower and two generous bedrooms. One bedroom with an inviting king-size bed, beautiful armoire, and french doors leading out to the patio and lakeside. The second bedroom has a queen-sized pine log bed and an extra bunk bed with 2 singles, with french doors also opening up to your lakeside sanctuary! It’s the intersection of peaceful privacy and lakeside fun! You’ll have it all! Pontoon boat rental available.
